Vitamin D is well known as the sunshine vitamin which is great for immunity and healthy bones. Did you know It also plays a huge role in both male and female fertility plus hormone balance! Low levels of vitamin D can affect reproductive function making conception more challenging. Once activated, Vitamin D functions in the body as a hormone, which is why it plays such a crucial role in fertility, hormonal balance, and overall health

How to boost your vitamin D:

Sunshine: Aim for 5-15 minutes a few times a week, under your arms, thighs and bum are great places to absorb vitamin D. Don’t wash/rinse your body for 15-20 minutes after to allow time for absorption. 

Vitamin D rich foods: Fatty fish, egg yolks, sun-exposed mushrooms
